“God did not create evil. Just as darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence of God.”
― Albert Einstein

this isnt very good but I tried my best. This was a really fun and so freaking stressful contest but I enjoyed it and shout out to all of the teams who entered even if you didnt make it very far, you are all wonderful editors no matter what anyone says :).

So alas, we have reached the end of this longish ten round edit contest that Skye took the time to create judge and..stuff. It’s been a lot of fun but I don’t know if I’ll be doing another one anytime soon! :) I’ve been doing so many recently! Thank you to my Twinnie, though we don’t call each other that anymore :D And thanks again to Skye for doing all of this hard work for the contest regardless of how things go or what came up! And finalement, thank you to every single one of my competitors  You’ve all been wonderful editors and it was lovely to see all your hard work on my dashboard! :) ♥ Love you all!

The Casio QV10. My friends just wouldn’t believe me when I told them that I’m one of the first owners of a digital camera way back in 1996 until they saw this in the flesh. (I kept it as a souvenir with the manuals and box). Its a 0.25 megapixel (yes not a typo) wonder way back then with F2 and F8 apertures. Its an alkaline battery eating/hungry device that produces very small photos not even good enough for a 2x2 picture. I took it apart when it stopped working and was able to use the lens as sort of a microscope. All I need now is to find the CDs with the images that I took with it. Also worth noting that I edited the images from this camera… in Photoshop 3.0!

The best part of all….. is that I used this camera as a conversational piece 10 years later (2006) to land the job of Digital Imaging Consultant for the CEBU Pride of Place Coffee table book. A job that opened a lot of doors for me especially in photography.
