Quran 30:60 – Therefore endure patiently, the promise of God is truth…

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ

Therefore endure patiently, the promise of God is truth. And let not those who do not believe to make you despair of the promise of God. (Quran 30:60)

So verily after الْعُسْر (hardship) comes يُسْرًا (ease), verily after الْعُسْر (hardship) comes يُسْرًا (ease). (Quran 94:5-6) Ups and downs are a part of life. We all face hardships and difficulties of varying degrees in our lives but regardless of the magnitude of affliction that befalls us, we can take comfort in the reassurance that Allah (swt) is giving us in this ayah.
The fact that Allāh says this twice indicates the notion of emphasis: The word الْعُسْرِ (hardship) is in its definite form (it has ‘al’ in front of the word) which means that a person may have one problem, but the word يُسْرًا is in the indefinite form which means that after a problem, Allāh will give you many eases (possibly of different types). And that the hardship mentioned in the first verse is the same as the hardship in the second, but the ease stated in the first verse is different to the second. As such, Allāh has closed one door for us, but He will open many other doors. This ease will only come about after experiencing hardship. And we know the value of something after encountering its opposite.

This life is full of joys and calamities, most understand the blessings of its joy but few comprehend the blessings in its calamities. Allāh has blessed us with this understanding, strengthening our souls and mind.So if things get difficult for you, take refuge in Allaah, waiting for His ease and believing in His promise.

Quran 14:42 on Photos of Syria’s War

Never think that God is unaware of what the evildoers are doing: He only grants them respite until the Day when their eyes will stare in horror… (Quran 14:42)

1. “O you who do not believe! I worship not what you worship, and you are not worshipping what I worship; nor am 1 worshipping what you worship; neither -art you worshipping what I worship. Therefore, to you your religion; and to me my religion!” - Prophet Muhammad (pbu)

2. “Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.”

3. “…Let there be no compulsion in religion…” (Quran 2:256)

4. "Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.” (Quran 2:62)

5. “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand- hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and know eth all things.” (Quran 2:256)

6. O you who believe, no people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than they. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than they. Nor shall you mock one another, or make fun of your names. Evil indeed is the reversion to wickedness after attaining faith. Anyone who does not repent after this, these are the transgressors.(Qur'an49:11)
