Death Anniversary of my Papa Hermie.
Today, May 19 2015, marks the first death anniversary of my uncle, Hermito Priolo.
As part of the family, Priolo clan, i was required to go to Nabua, and even if it wasn’t obligatory, i’d still go there because i missed the place so much.
The bus that i rode on going to Nabua left at 7 am. And it made me pissed knowing that the ‘supposed to be’ one hour trip became two hours, and that was because the bus took the alternate road, which is Milaor, since the road from San Jose Pili, is closed. By 8 am, the bus was still at Anayan, Pili. So i arrived in the area by 9 am.
My right eye still is sore and reddish in color, but it’s a good thing that it isn’t that swollen to look at.
It as nice seeing my cousins there and being able to speak their language again, which i totally love speaking, considering the accent that comes with it. It was funny and surprising that my sore eyes trended in the place, since everyone knew about it. There were too many people, most of them are unknown to me but are familiar. Lunch started as soon as the vigil (?) ended. It was early, really. And since i loved how the washing of the dishes there differed from that in the city, i helped wash the utensils used. After the first set of washing was done, they told me not to help anymore since it was too hot outside and my eyes were in their concern.
I spent the afternoon jamming with my cousins through videoke sessions. Can’t stop myself from reserving songs to sing since the temptation was there already. Hahaha! I also babysat two babies. One was ate gina’s baby which is my favorite niece, and the other was my nephew’s sister. And wow oh wow, could you imagine (well i know you can) their age gap? 20 years!! Yepp. Wow, indeed.
Seeing the baby for the first time and not knowing that it was my nephew’s sister, i was already struck with the baby’s beauty <3333 Proud ninang (assuming) here!! Hahaha :))
It wasn’t anymore awkward to me being with the two cousins that were there too, whom i was linked to in the past since i and they too had a crush on me, but not at the same time. Lol, i know, i know =))) #ForbiddenFeeling
I left the area by 4.30 in the afternoon and again took a bus going back to Naga. There were two awkward moments inside. One was when the conductor said to me “Ne, mapula baga mata mo.” To which i replied that i have sore eyes. The other one was when the male passenger on the other side, sat next to me only to say “Turog turog ka baga subago.” I only smiled and thought “what the fuck?” Hahahaha guess he was observing me throughout the trip, lol
Arrived in Naga by 6 pm. Home sweet home!! Though i badly wanted to spend the night at Nabua, but i can’t because my grandma asked me to just spend the whole day there and go home as soon as the celebration is done, and so i did. :( :)
