Insecurities are a bitch: The Outfit I would never wear.

This is an outfit I was over the moon to order. It would sit in my closet for three years.

This is the outfit that shows my fat belly. The one that makes my hips look too wide.

This is the outfit that made me cry the first time I saw it in the mirror.

This outfit emerged today and I said “screw it”

This is the outfit I will wear today. I will look fierce and fabulous. I look good with a belly, hips and big butt.  Insecurities are a bitch. I never thought I could wear body con. This year I WILL embrace form fitting clothing.

STRIPE mE Up!!!

I’m the type of girl that likes to wear what looks good on me. I usually go for black (hence its classic), sometimes patterns, and brights;all except for stripes. I have a love/hate relationship with stripes because I’ve always felt like they made me look wide as I’m very hippy. Recently, I’ve been exploring ways to try things I normally would not wear. On a recent trip to Torrid, I purchased a striped midi skirt. I was so nervous about wearing stripes but I was very pleased with how well it came together. I received lots of compliments and it made me feel more confident. I hope to add more stripe pieces to my wardrobe for the fall.  I encourage all my curvy girls to dare and try something new.

Hell Bunny Rock On Dress in Plus

Hell Bunny Rock On Dress in Size 4X Hell Bunny Petticoat in White Size XL-XXL Custom Name Necklace Everyday is like Halloween

Can you tell I’m in love?? When I first peeped Hell Bunnies spring/summer catalog the Rock On dress didn’t stand out to me. My first thought was “another tattoo themed dress…meh”.  The more I looked at it the more I wanted to try it. I didn’t have any other HB dresses that were cut like the Rock On. I was curious to see if it would fit me as well as the others with the smocking on the back. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This dress fits me like a glove. I honestly think it fits me better than any of my other HB dresses. The arm holes are not tight at all. I didn’t get the excess material sag under my arms or though the front of my chest. This seems to be a problem for me sometimes. The cut out in the back is perfect. Showing just enough skin to be sexy, but not revealing my bra band. I’m always fond of the length of these 50s style Hell Bunny dresses. I think for this design the length is lovely. I would, however, like to see Hell Bunny come out with some shorter length dresses. Most of the dresses in the plus size range are, this length. Hell bunnies normal range collection has many short dresses. I’m fat, but I don’t mind showing a little leg.

While at first glance I thought the Rock On was just another tattoo dress, but it’s really not. This print is very fun. I’m totally digging on the blue sharks though out. HB always goes above and beyond with their awesome, unique prints. Once I put this dress on I didn’t feel it was just another tattoo print dress. I felt so beautiful and sassy. Oh and it looked pretty great with my hair.
