No, this isn’t a daft wee toy of mine. It’s actually a screen-wipe for err…wiping a screen. It’s lemon scented, and actually works quite well. Was a quirky wee Christmas present from my Mum. Apparently my iPad screen is a ‘mess’, and this is to rectify that. Cheers.

A wee picture of the main stand at Livingston FC’s ground. The players had just left the pitch for half time. We (Falkirk) were winning 1-0 at the time. It was pishing it down, and it was fucking freezing. I was glad to get off my seat and stamp my feet about for 15 minutes as I’d lost all feeling in them. Besides the weather, it wasn’t too bad. We won 2-1, and played rather well. Definitely think we deserved the 3 points. A good win to start the new year.

Day 264 of 366 “ For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. by Chris Willis 10 on Flickr.

A través de Flickr:
I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move; to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly; to come down off this feather-bed of civilization, and find the globe granite underfoot and strewn with cutting flints.” Robert Louis Stevenson

I finally became reunited with a Rough Guide to Japan that Simon bought me, when I had only just met him, and wrote a quote in. This was the quote and it was very appropriate to Japan as I was so uncomfortable trying to sleep on hard Japanese Futons that I only managed one nights sleep the whole trip. That was when we managed to afford a bigger room so I stacked all the spare bedding up and slept on that, like the purple princess that I am!

This quote seems appropriate again as I am off to Ethiopia soon. This time Steve has bought me a Lonely Planet guide. I am very much looking forward to stepping outside of my comfortable bubble that is my life and experiencing a different culture.

Probably my favourite photo so far. It’s of a bottle of buckfast sitting on top of a bus stop. I’m not sure it was empty either. I swear I could see something in it as the bus drove past it. I took another few pictures whilst I was on the bus, but I think this one deserves to be my photo of the day.

This was the view out of my window this morning. It was a wee bit frosty. According to my phone, it was -6 outside when I took this. It seems to be getting colder as January goes on. The month actually started out pretty warm (for Scotland in January, anyway.), but it seems to be freezing every day now, with frost like this covering the ground 24/7. Hurry the fuck up summer.
