Because I love free: Phono del Sol Music and Food Festival is a party organized by The Bay Bridged and Tiny Telephone, it’s totally free and all ages.

You should expect tons of people, food trucks, and some mega tunes. Personally, I’m excited for Appetite - the Sacramento melody genius that is Teddy Briggs. He’s assembled an all-star band to present the new sounds: Sam Coe (The Actionists) on Drums, Carson Mcwhirter (Everybody, The Advantage) on Guitar, Addison Quarles (Chelsea Wolfe, Embrace The End) on Bass, and Jesse Phillips (Ellie Fortune) on Guitar. Appetite is on first, so be sure to get there on time. Also, Check out the new video for “Little While”:

Also playing the festival is the hip-hop act Aesop Rock, now SF-based Mirah, Man/Miracle, Magik*Magik* Orchestra, and Oakland noise-buds Religious Girls. It’s all happening at Potrero Del Sol Park at 25th Street & San Bruno. It wraps up around 6PM just in time to check out The Fucking Ocean & Pamela at Afterlife. Plus you’ll still have enough time to party at the INNERGAZE show at Amnesia. Big Saturday!
