Paralympics Ice Sledge Schedule

Since I haven’t seen it yet, here’s the schedule for the preliminary round of Ice Sledge in the Paralympics:

You’ll be able to watch the entire Paralympics here.

If you’re unfamiliar with ice sledge (I was! Turns out it’s incredibly awesome), you can see an entire matches here.

And in case you wanted to know: the defending gold medal champs are the United States.

Team Canada wins their first two Curling games of the Paralympics!

They first defeated Great Britain 6-3 in the morning. Next, they defeated their the host country, Russia, 5-4.

Tomorrow, they play Sweden at 15:30 (Sochi time).

Great job on the wins and keep up the great work, Team Canada!

Great Britain’s London 2012 gold medalist Hannah Cockroft begins the Paralympic Heritage Flame lighting ceremony from within the ‘Armillary Sphere’ at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. The flame lighting ceremony takes place at Stoke Mandeville, the birthplace of the Paralympics movement. The ceremony is the first ever international leg of a Paralympic torch relay, and a prelude to the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games which begins on March 7, 2014.
