I haven’t made a peep about the “always in my heart” tweet, mostly because my gut with anything that happens with this band is to take a step back and not react for at least 36 hours.
But I’m obviously keeping tabs on it. Last night, I opened Louis’ twitter feed in a Chrome tab and scrolled as far back as I could go (21 Jan 2011) on the timeline, including all replies. I left it open knowing shit gets weird and I might want the history.
This morning, I saw that Louis’ total tweets dropped again. So I did the same thing: opened his timeline in a new Chrome tab, scrolled back as far as I could (21 Jan 2011) and went to work.
Here are the tweets that are no longer on his timeline that were there last night (even after the “always in my heart” tweet disappeared).
In case anyone is interested (like me):
They all give the same error as the “always in my heart” tweet does:
That said, I really don’t know if the “always in my heart” tweet was genuinely deleted or not. The other missing tweets are way too random and innocuous to delete. It’s possible the “always in my heart” tweet was really deleted and the rest of this is a weird coincidence. Or, it’s possible all of this is a Twitter glitch and the “always in my heart” tweet was an unfortunate victim this time around.
We’ll have to wait and see.
