She stares at him, her breath trembling a little, the eruption of anger that had enveloped her only seconds ago quickly cooling and solidifying into something resembling guilt.
Her eyes drop to the floor and she pulls in a deep breath, letting her clenched fists relax.
Killian steps a little closer.

"Shhh," he hushes, his fingers in her hair as he draws her closer to him.
She lets him. For a moment she just exists pressed her cheek against his chest.
Swallowing, she looks up into his eyes, “I’m sorry. I’m not used to this, you know, someone looking out for me all the time.”
"I know. And you’d better reconcile yourself to the situation swan, because I’m not going anywhere."
He kissed her forehead and she smiles, the argument forgotten.
