I used to complain about all the young kids on this site.

But really, it’s not their fault. Who are we to look down on them? The only reason why they are even able to access tumblr, facebook, youtube and other social networking sites is that they have been privileged by their parents with computers and phones and all these gadgets to do so. Some of them may be speaking and acting “inappropriately” for their age, but look at us. We influenced them to be this way. The girls with all the make up and revealing clothes. Those boys with their tattoos and saggy pants. We get disgusted by them, but really, they are just a mirror of us. They all look up to us! Society made these kids this way. & I hate it when people point out the fact that someone has many younger followers. You know, it must say something about you. They see something in you that they admire and they want to continue seeing more and learning more from you. Wether you are a bad or a good person. You are influencing them! I’m sure the generation before us is probably looking at us and they too are disappointed in us. We are nothing to be proud of.

Leave the kids alone and be a good role model.

Mom's life lessons are the best... :'/
  • Mom:One way to be happy is you need to always remember to give and never expect anything in return.
  • Me:I know.
  • Mom:No. You actually don't. Here's a story.
  • Me:Oh God.
  • Mom:We were probably overreacting, but when you were 2 years old, you caught a fever. You were born in Indonesia while we were trying to go to America. Your dad and I were poor as dirt. We could not afford to see the doctor. You were in so much pain, but you did not cry at all. You've always been a brave kid. I did all the crying for you. I was very afraid to lose you. I hit and yelled at your dad. I cried and cried and I told him to do whatever it takes to make you feel better. In panic, he ran out to the end of the dirty street with a spoon and pan. He banged and banged and banged. It woke up the whole neighborhood. He said one thing. "Help my daughter. She is dying." The people were very annoyed by him. They started to walk back into their houses.
  • Me:I don't get your story. That's not nice.
  • Mom:Shut up. Let my finish. So, your dad fell to his knees. He was very frustrated. So was I. I felt like I was holding a hot potato in my arms. It was very scary. 15 minutes later, the neighbors came back out with jars, wallets, and tin cans in their hands. They all dropped it by your dad's knees. They told him that it was all the money they had. They said that they hope that it can help him afford to take you to the doctors. It was the first time I see your dad cry. We cannot thank them enough. Some of those people have already left by the time we could earn enough money to pay them back. Some of them were old, they passed. We never got to repay them back. They never asked for anything in the first place. Imagine if they did... You would have never had the chance to be right here talking to me right now.
  • Me:I promise you, mom. I promise that I will make you proud.
  • Mom:You already do.

What is yours?

In the scatter of the moonlit night
incandescence between buildings bright
distorted reflection upon cobble stones
dead cigarette butts interstice
musical pain so sweet
eased down a throat tight,
he sits amidst a small crowd
left over right leg, tapping his fingers
but breaking to careful bits
all over again.

I can't wait to see you.

I can’t wait to hold your hand.
I can’t wait to hug you.
I can’t wait to look into your eyes.
I can’t wait to simply be next to you.

I feel like my heart is going to burst into a million pieces just thinking about this.

A stupid story.

I swear. My parents yell at me for the dumbest things. I sometimes believe that they have brought me to life just to yell at me and make me feel like everything I do is a sin. lol. I was eating a chicken sandwich, so I went to the kitchen to get some napkins to wipe my hands, you know? My dad was standing by the napkins, so I kindly said “excuse me” to him and he turned around and gave me a glare. He was like, “What do you need.” I told him that I needed to get a napkin. To my surprise, I did not know that getting a napkin to clean myself with could lead me into getting yelled at. He asked me why I needed a napkin (you know, one of those moments where your parents asks you such obvious questions that you just want to respond to them with sarcasm, but you can’t, or else they’d rip your head off). I told him to wipe my hands… and he was all like, “You need a napkin to wipe your hands? What did you eat? Are you a baby? Why did you have to get your hands dirty in the first place? Blah blah blah” stuff like that. I didn’t know how to respond so I just stood there and waited for him to move. All of a sudden, he sneezed into his hands and as he was about to turn around to get a napkin, I snatched the roll away from him. As I ran away, I yelled “WHY YOU GOTTA SNEEZE IN YOUR HANDS FOR? WHY YOU GOTTA SNEEZE FOR? ARE YOU A BABY?” LOL Now I’m hiding in my room… With my chicken sandwich… And the roll of napkins.

Takes One to Know One. Music for two idiots who like to be dumb together.
