After nearly 6 years of touring nonstop, The Swellers are proud to announce that we are finally doing our first proper co-headline tour in the US (and Toronto!). Our friends You Me At Six are joining us as headliners on the bill, as well as special guests Twin Atlantic and We Are The Ocean. You will finally be able to see The Swellers play a long set, including material from all of our releases, in really rad, intimate venues. Now it may seem obvious to some of you, but this is where you come in.
You buying a ticket is not only guaranteeing that you’ll get to see The Swellers and all the great bands playing on our tour (some of these dates are going to sell out FAST, can’t guarantee you will be able to buy tickets at the door), but it is also casting a vote. Your vote says that you believe in our band. It says that you want to keep us on the road. Swellers fans being at the show will send a message to the music industry, as well as skeptics, that says “this band is going to be here for awhile.” We’d be nothing without our fans, and if there was ever a show where we needed our fans more than ever, it’s this one. We really can’t thank you guys enough!
We are a band that isn’t crammed down the throats of consumers through television and radio, so we need YOU to talk to your friends about The Swellers. Send them our tour dates. Send them our music. Load your car full of people, or come to the show alone. You’re all welcome here no matter your age, sex, race, or musical preference. Thank you for believing in us.
