less is more, i guess? there’s this neo-minimalism trend that’s been popular for a while now, it typically consists of monochromatic art placed sparingly throughout a white walled gallery, kind of like David Alexander Flinn’s “These Tides Hide Times and Lost Lives” show, seen above. at the opposite end of the aesthetic spectrum (and being shown right up the street), we have the clutter-to-the-max by Jimmy Trotter, see the “Jimmy Trotter and the Daydreaming Animals” show at Mulherin + Pollard gallery (below)
