Getting Back On Track

Calgary, Canada, 09/27/14

It’s been a tough month. As I mentioned a while back, one of my guinea pigs got very sick around the start of September, and unfortunately after two weeks of hand feeding and special care, she died. I know she was just a guinea pig, but you get really attached when they’re your only roommates. It’s going to be hard to get used to having only two of the critters from now on.

Aside from that, I’ve had a bunch of other family-related stuff going on, on top of having to get back into the swing of things with school. While it hasn’t been terrible or anything, it has been consuming and as a result I haven’t been able to come on here at all. I’m sorry about that.

After all that, I had to think for a bit about how I’d go about getting back to blogging. I’ve been having a hard time finding the inspiration to do so. It’s fall here in Canada and everything looks gorgeous, so I figured that going for a photo walk would be a good thing to try. I enjoyed it, and look forward to posting the shots on here.

I hope to start posting regularly as of now, and once I’ve gone through some of these autumn photos, I plan on getting back to posting travel photography. That’s what I’m best at, and I miss it.

Cheers to anyone who bothered to read this little update of mine. It’s nice to be back. I’ve missed tumblr quite a bit!

The four babies were born in April 2014. They were either in the den area, hiding, or they are in the nursery area (which I didn’t visit). I obviously didn’t take the photos of the babies.
