Last season, at my high school, I didn’t get to play in many games. Not only straining me physically as well as emotionally, I had to make a difficult decision and decided not to play under the coach again. At my Uncle’s memorial service, I was lucky to have an amazing conversation with a teacher at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School where my Aunt had taught for thirty years. We spoke about my experience and he suggested I come to Rabun to play for my last two years of high school. Sending in all the appropriate forms and nailbiting my way through my financial aid application, I got accepted. The school gave me a generous grant, however, it was still unaffordable. I’m not starting this campaign to publicize my financial status, but instead to help my mother sleep easier at night knowing I can achieve my dreams.
You don’t know me and I don’t know many of you if you’re around the world looking at this page. If you do know me, you’d understand my love and passion for the game of basketball and how this would indubitably change my life.
Any donation will help, even if it’s 50 cents. That’s 50 more cents than I started with.
