Still one of my favorite Otep songs. God, that woman can get a message across. This song seriously gave me that power within myself to have the courage to say “fuck you.” To stand up for myself, to throw away the poison in my life. To not be afraid, to get up and keep going, that perseverance will get me somewhere if I keep on trying. To not dwell on my scars, the past, and to wear them proudly like a soldier, and keep going. Fuck everyone else, and be you.

Thank you, Otep. <3

Mayhem of the Music Meister!

Do you like Neil Patrick Harris?
Are you a fan of ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog’?
Want more singing super villains??

This is an episode of ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ titled ‘The Mayhem of the Music Meister’. It introduces a villain called the Music Meister who has the power to control people with his singing, voiced by- you guessed it!- Neil Patrick Harris. The whole episode is a musical and it is a crime that more people don’t know about it.

Music Meister

The best episode I’ve seen

Skillet - Never Surrender

This song means a lot to me. It reminds me of the person I used to be, the girl who was afraid of her own shadow and didn’t interact with the world. I always gave into being bullied all throughout middle school, and into high school. My lovely boyfriend was the one who scooped me up, and showed me the world, and how to stand up for what’s right, and myself. I’m forever grateful.

Neil Patrick Harris as a Batman villain!  I encourage everyone to at least listen to the first song (after the Batman intro)  <3

I was  way more excited to find this episode last weekend than to find out who the mother was on How I Met Your Mother  :3  but here that is anyway

Everyone needs to appreciate this video and how this song relates directly to Homura and her feelings about everything.

Slipknot & Korn concert!

Was absolutely fantastic!!! This was my second time seeing Slipknot, first time seeing Korn. Korn put on an amazing show, and got everyone so energized for their brothers to follow.

Slipknot was so amazing! It’s so different from the last time, since I saw them on the All Hope is Gone tour. They did a lot of older music, such as the Heretic Anthem, Eyeless, People = Shit, etc. But when they played The Devil in I and The Negative One, Corey talked about Paul each time before he sang. It was really nice, asking and thanking the audience if we had the Gray Chapter. My heart dropped when Corey started talking about how thankfully they are for their fans welcoming they’re return, since the past couple of years was the darkest time in their whole career. But! They also played a lot of the Subliminal Verse, which made me so happy! 3 Nil, Duality, Before I Forget, Vermillion. It was so fucking fantastic! I love how they always do the Spit it Out jump as well.

I would pay to see them a million more times. Slipknot = <3.

I will always hit Q.

Even with all of the crap going on with Slipknot right now, there’s a reason as to why the band is doing what it is. I’m really happy that Joey isn’t leaving, it was a temporary thing. And on a positive note, in an interview, Corey stated that they are in the studio producing an album right now, which will combine the sounds of The Subliminal Verses and All Hope is Gone.

Please excuse me while I SCREAM IN EXCITEMENT. Those are my two favorite albums, and I can’t count how many times I’ve replayed Subliminal Verses. Holy jesus.

I’m super duper extremely excited, if you can’t tell~
