I spent Saturday morning wearing an air-filtering mask and checking out our historic Jail. We had some ants to take care of, and other issues that required face masks! It’s all good now, thank goodness.
Meet Tristen Anderson our Annual Program’s Officer! If she isn’t working with our Membership team she is hanging out with our Young Professionals, tasting some great Atlanta cuisine, or jet setting off on some great vacations!
Job(s): Annual Programs Officer (Membership)
Number of years as part of Membership team: Just over 2 years
Best way to express yourself: By making other people feel special, I love surprising people!
Book you frequently recommend: It’s embarrassing, but I’m not a big reader. I loved Eat, Pray, Love but that’s so old it’s a movie now. I’m a bit of a t.v. junkie - and I recommend So You Think You Can Dance!
Favorite work in the permanent collection: Only one? That’s tough! A tie between our Anish Kapoor “Untitled” and Deborah Butterfield’s “Horse.”
Atlanta or just outside?: Just outside, in Marietta. It feels way outside during rush hour…
Favorite part of working on HMA’s 3rd Floor: The view! Our walls are giant windows, it’s very relaxing.
Most memorable vacation: Cali coast last year.
Next vacation: The N.C. Outerbanks with the fam! Yeah!
White or wheat?: Wheat
Why I love Atlanta: I love the budding foodie scene.
Tell me why you love the High: Our Mod/Con permanent collection is incredible, as is our Skyway Gallery. I also love my YP Members!
