ISTD Brief - 2013

Brief: Create the name, logo and applied identity for the Museum of the Circus. This must be done using typography as the main vehicle of expression.

Solution: The brief required a specific market to be targetted and I decided to create a family-orientated museum. To reflect this, I kept the concept and visual identity simple and clear, steering away from the traditional ornate typography associated with the Circus. I wanted the identity to appear bright and playful, bringing the image of the circus into the 21st century.

A recent collaboration with @museumofwonder being projected in the Shoals Theatre over @wildcubmisic at @billy_reid ‘s shindig this past weekend. Thanks to @shellycolvin for the opportunity and photo. If you don’t know these people, you should. They’re radical.

Killer work by my homie Butch Anthony @museumofwonder at the Billy Reid Shindig. Don’t you wish you were in Ala-fuckin-Bama tonight?
