So there was lots of pretty artwork released recently for the next set Theros. Really excited for the it I love the artwork for the set.

I know I am a little late to the part. There is a video of the panel in which they show the artwork and I have a link below but I think the set it gonna be pretty cool.

I am really exited for the pre-release though I know that I will not be able to take part in it myself. So when it come to it I will be looking to you guy to tell me how it goes.

Anyways here’s the Link

Ya, I haven’t a whole lot to say, but this is like most alters I put up here, in my opinion awesome. That’s all I can really saw about it.

I’m not sure how much I can really say about the art work I put up here, I think from now on I will only make an extra comment when I really have something to say about what I put up.

This is one of the more interesting styles I have seen yet, and while not my favorite, it is probably the most interesting alters I have seen yet.

Also if ye ever have any comments for the artist I link to, you should go and leave comments form them, I’m not sure if ye are. But if ye do, try and leave something constructive. From what I know of Deviant Art, there aren’t enough people who will leave a constructive comment and that is generally the reason people are putting their art out there.

Okay, mini rant over.

So loyal followers. Or at least I hope you are. Is there anything you would like to see me try with this blog.

While I enjoy the re blogging and all, I would very much prefer to be creating at least some of the  content on here.

Is there anything you find lacking on tumblr or in general from the Magic community?

Booze Cube

For those of you who enjoy the odd drick or two I thought I’d like you to think. It’s a Magic: The Gathering drinking game.

I haven’t played it myself, but some of the card are hilarious and the entire thing seems well thought out and assembled well. As far as I am aware the blog has all the information you will need to set up your cube.

And if your not old enough to drink where ever you are or just aren’t one for the drink then have a read over the cards that have been put together. They at least are a laugh, provided you don’t get offended by any of them.

Here is the Link.

P.s Please don’t drink if you are under age and if you are drinking be responsible, don’t drink and drive and if you find yourself drinking more the your able or should drop out or take a break.

So thoughts

So I have been thinking about the game of magic a lot lately, what with the release of Gatecrash coming and all (Really excited about the Dimir mechanic, with Simic being a close second). And the thought has struck me, that once again I probable won’t be able to get all that many cards from the set just like with Return t Ravinica, what with me being a poor student and all.

But what it has made me think about is the fact that I really miss posting to this blog. So I have decided to try and get back to it, I have no idea how many people care about this blog, but I for one enjoyed it, so there is that. I doubt I will be able to get time to listen to as many as of the podcast as I did in the summer, I’m even behind on Mark Rosewaters one, which I will say is awesome if you have any interest in games design or the history of magic.

So what will I post, well as before alters, whatever articles I get time to read, and what ever else I see of interest to do with magic.

So when will this all start up again (ahh who am I fooling, no one is asking that, silly boy). Well if you do happen to be, it will start shortly after I finish my winter exams which should be around the tenth of the month. I won’t post until then, that may give me time to gather a few things up, give me a nice back log.

Til  next post.

Edit —

P.S If you have any questions you would like to ask, well feel free, if you don’t want it answered publicly, no problem. If I get a question i find inappropriate I will ether ignore it, or reply in a non public way.

Return to Ravinica, For Those Who've Never Been.

So I came across this article on Star City Games by John Dale Beety. I think it will be of more interest to people such as myself who weren’t playing Magic: the Gathering back in the first Ravinica block.

The article gives an over view of the 10 guilds and some of the other flavor features from the old Ravnica block, giving hints at the story from last time. I would suggest reading the article for those who’ve not been to Ravnica. And I for one an really exicited about going to Ravnica for my first time. I think I’m gonna go Isset.

The article.
