We are Only Vessels

As singular vessels,
The energy we give matches the energy we take
The channels chosen determine the outcome of culmination

When aligned
Balance attained
I feel small compared to the influence of incoming energy
I can only feel it
It isn’t me
But my idea of life force
My personal idea of what is named ‘God’

I can see those I love
I can feel their pain, their love, their desires and wishes
Of what they are conscious of or not
I know when they’re going to call
I know what they are going to say

I wish I could always feel this way
A servant
Fulfilled by the existence of life
The universe
Distances only fathomed
But over time
This leads to overwhelming responsibility
To heal Mother Earth and the precious energy she shares

We’ve taken too much
As a whole, our human nature
Must learn to exchange
Never to only take
Before it’s too late

Well, I know she’s a tracker, any scarlet would back her…
They say ‘she’s a chooser’, but I just can’t refuse her…
She was just there, but then she can’t, be here no more…
And as my mind un-weaves, I feel the freeze down in my knees…
But just before she leaves, she receives…

She’s been ‘down in the dunes’ and she’s ‘dealt with the goons’…
Now she drinks from the bitter cup, I’m trying to get her, to give it up…
She was just here, I fear she can’t be here, no more…
And as my mind un-weaves, I feel the freeze down in my knees.
But just before she leaves, she receives….

It’s long, long when she’s gone, I get weary holding on ..
Now I’m coldly fading fast, I don’t think I’m gonna last ..
Very much longer…..

"She’s stoned" said the Swede, and the ‘moon calf agreed”…
I’m like a viper in shock with my eyes in the clock…
She was just there somewhere and here I am again…
And as my mind un-weaves, I feel the freeze down in my knees..
But just before she leaves, she receives………

"When the first chakra is disconnected from the feminine Earth, we can feel orphaned and motherless. The masculine principle predominates, and we look for security from material things. Individuality prevails over relationship, and selfish drives triumph over family, social and global responsibility. The more separated we become from the Earth, the more hostile we become to the feminine. We disown our passion, our creativity, and our sexuality. Eventually the Earth itself becomes a baneful place. I remember being told by a medicine woman in the Amazon, “Do you know why they are really cutting down the rain forest? Because it is wet and dark and tangled and feminine.”“
