Manually Installing Texture Packs

If you need to manually install your texture pack, you can do so by finding your Minecraft texture pack folder and dragging the .zip folder into it. Here is how to find it:

On Windows:

C: > Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > .minecraft > texturepacks

With ‘username’ being your user name account on the computer.

If you cannot see your AppData folder, type \AppData after \username into the address bar at the top of the window,

On Mac:

User > Library > Application Support > minecraft > texturepacks

With user being your account name on your Mac.

Sometimes the Library folder is hidden on Mac. If you can’t find yours, do the following:

1. Open terminal (Applications > Utilities > terminal)

2. Enter the command: chflags nohidden ~/Library/ and press enter. Your Library folder should now be visible.
