Verizon Wireless is set to introduce two Android smartphones next month that are pretty much guaranteed to make geeks from sea to shining sea jizz in their pants. First up, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which we’ve been hearing rumors about for quite a few months now. It’s going to be the first smartphone to run Google’s next version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), which we’ll know plenty more about in less than 50 hours thanks to an official Google event that’ll be live streamed from Hong Kong. Besides running ICS, the Galaxy Nexus is also set to sport a massive 4.6 inch screen that pushes 1280 x 720 pixels. That puts it in Apple iPhone 4/4S territory in terms of pixels per inch. Underneath all that glass will be a dual core processor 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a camera that’ll we’re hearing conflicting reports about; it’s either 5 megapixels or 8 megapixels.
