Today we worked with a nurse called ami who was so lovely, she took us under her wing and taught us about cholera and malaria. The clinic was quite as it was raining, and like my mum does in the uk she won’t go out until it stops (may mess up her weave) 😉. We played with the kids in the afternoon giving them balloons, bubbles, a football and a skipping rope kindly bought my Vicky mcilvenny. They absolutely loved them! If you gave that to a group of 3-12yr olds at home it would entertain them for 5 mins, here they played it it all till the sun went down! In the afternoon we also went to go and see how traditional gin was made- considering my love for it is pretty great, it kind of out me off. However after trying it I know why all the chiefs want it the little party animals!
