a one time thing (and other untruths) (16/?)

Captain Swan. Modern AU.

"She supposes the reason she tells him is the same reason she kept his phone number after all those weeks."

Notes: So it’s been a nice challenge, writing the story this way, with the changing perspectives every chapter thing. It’s fun to write the same scene twice because different characters react to different things, notice different things - hear periods instead of commas, internally monologue at different moments. It’s almost (almost) fun to deal with the fallout before explaining the motivation behind it. It also means that the next chapter is written (I’m probably gonna go back and flesh it out a bit later) and will probably be up tomorrow. Thanks for the comments (if I haven’t responded I’m sorry, I get overwhelmed sometimes) and whatnot. You all are lovely and I’m sincerely glad you’re enjoying this and, as ever, hope you like this chapter, too.

Wanna catch up? one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen

sixteen.

I don’t think that’s a good idea.
