Is anyone actually still confused about the shipping names for Red and Green? Because we should all know this by now:
ORIGINALSHIPPING: Pokemon Special/Adventures Red and Green (or PokeSpe!Red/Green or Manga!Red/Green)
NAMELESSSHIPPING: Pokemon Red/Blue/Green/Yellow version Red and Green (or Game!Red/Green). Pretty sure this also applies to the other games however no one’s really come up with one for Fire (Red’s design from gen three onward) and Green.
PALLETSHIPPING: Ash and Gary. Anime.
MASARASHIPPING: Apparently this is Red, Green, Ash and Gary.
Also, Pixiv!Red falls under the OriginalShipping category most of the time but Namelessshipping as well.
As for Pokemon the Origin, I’d assume that’s Namelessshipping. Or whatever Fire and Green are called.
Yes, there is a difference between Namelessshipping and OriginalShipping. If you’ve played the games and really the manga, you’d know the differences between the counterparts of the characters. Namelessshipping is more popular but more people call it OriginalShipping.
I personally just call them both. It’s the same to me. PalletShipping is the different one.
I don’t even mind when people mistake the shipping names between these ones. PalletShipping can technically apply to any of them, and both OriginalShipping and Namelessshipping can apply to Red and Green.
The only naming mistake you must never make?
Oh my fucking God.
You can call OriginalShipping PalletShipping for all I care or the other way but don’t you EVER
I DON’T GIVE A FUCK IF YOU GREW UP PLAYING THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE GAMES.
HIS NAME IS GREEN.
THAT IS ALL.
Now hopefully there aren’t anymore questions.
