Hey everyone!

When I was in NYC last month I had the pleasure of meeting Beck of Manfattan. She was the one who took these photos, and she is seriously awesome. After we shot some street style around the tents we decided to have a romantic Mexican dinner across the street from Lincoln Center. It was awesome hearing about her amazing life, and we hit it off right away.

So yes, I admit this outfit was from a month ago, I just kept forgetting to post it! I got this blazer from forever 21, and if you know me (and my company) you probably know I have a sweet spot for black and white. ;) The necklace is vintage, pants are from forever 21, and the boots are old ModCloth.

I hope you have a great weekend!! I am working hard getting the two other dresses from Zaftig created! :) Cannot wait to show the final products to you!

What I Wore: Memorial Day in Maine

I ventured to Maine this weekend for a much need mini vacation! The forecast looked dismal, but I was hopeful, so I brought along this gorgeous maxi dress c/o SWAK Designs from their line Size Appeal. And boy was I lucky, the weekend ended up to be mostly sunshine (and quite a bit of wind) and good times!

Get the look here.

Until next time,

Beck

What I Wore: Thanksgiving in Maine

Ahh, there is nothing like being in my hometown of Portland, Maine. I was so grateful to be able to head up there to celebrate Thanksgiving and this is what I wore!

For this ensemble I threw together a handful of my current favorites, all of which have a leather aspect. The dress is c/o Asos Curve and is a major must! The tartan and faux leather jacket is c/o MYNT 1792. I capped the outfit off with my new Torrid boots that I am sure you will be seeing a lot more of on my blog!

Until next time,

Beck

What I Wore: Forest Green

Everyone, meet my natural hair texture. It’s a crazy mess but it’s what I’m working with… so I’m into it. Anyway, today I donned these separates that I am equally in love with! This top, from Yours Clothing, is actually very long and I will definitely be wearing it as a dress with leggins very soon. This skirt is the perfect full-bodied piece that can either go casual or dressy. And together they are even better… in my opinion!

Top c/o Yours Clothing, Skirt c/o Asos, Tights via Lane Bryant and Shoes from Payless.

A Purple Dress

I really love simple dresses with beautiful details. They are the purrrfect thing to throw on in a pinch and can easily be dressed up or dressed down! This Scarlett & Jo skater dress with mesh and lace detailing is a perfect example of that.

I recently wore this purple number for a night out with black peep toe pumps and a clutch. However, today I was heading out for some shopping with my mom who is visiting and decided to dress it down with these boots from Torrid! If you order these shoes from online you should know that I’m normally a size 13 and had to buy these shoes in an 11 - they run very large!

Since I love the details on this dress I went very minimal with jewelry. Though, I rarely leave the house without my go to accessory: a bold lip!

Until next time,

Beck

#LuckyFABB

I had the pleasure of attending this year’s Lucky FABB Fashion and Beauty Conference. It was such an amazing experience and I was so happy to see a lot of bloggers from the plus size realm there!

For the first day of #LuckyFABB I wore this Jessica Simpson top with cute little flower cutouts on the shoulders. This Calvin Klein skirt is my favorite recent purchase and I guarantee you’ll see me wear it again - I can’t find a link to purchase it online, however, I just found it last week at the Macy’s on 34th Street!

Since I knew I would be moving around all day I went with these super comfy sneaker wedges from Lane Bryant and added my favorite MAC lippy, Dear Diary, to finish off the ensemble!

Until next time,

Beck

What I Wore: Evening via Instagram [@manfattan]

One of my best friends from my hometown, Maine, is visiting me in NYC.  We decided to hit the town.

I wore this striped Lane Bryant dress! Who says big girls can’t wear stripes anyway?! I paired it with some tights from Just My Size and blue suede wedges from Payless (Yay! for Payless carrying size 13).

I have received several questions lately about my height and measurements. I’m 6’3… so obviously this dress is a bit shorter on me than the average gal! I range from a size 22-26 depending on where I am shopping.

Thank you for all your feedback.

Until next time,

Beck

What I Wore: Lace & Pink Lips

This is one of those no-brainier outfits. It’s simple but gives you a little kick of sass - which ya know I love! This shirt c/o of Scarlett & Jo is everything. The fit is on point - I haven’t stopped wearing it since it arrived!

Now, I generally hate jeans. Most denim pants make me feel suffocated so I was surprised that I actually fell in love with these pants from Ruff Hewn via Bon-Ton. Since I’m so tall I have to do a little cuff action to make them ankle jeans instead of highwaters - but I still dig the look!

The shoes are my trusty black wedge sneakers from Lane Bryant that are perfect for stomping the streets of NYC! This See By Chloe bag is my everyday go to because it can carry A LOT of stuff. The pink lippy is from the collection Beth Ditto did with MAC. If you can get your hands on it definitely add it to your collection - It’s a gem!

Until Next Time,

Beck
