Yesterday was Pride - and it was amazing! It is so wonderful to see how Lubbock has changed and continues to change over the years and to just be around so many people and FEEL the love…ah, it was amazing.

Thankfully, we were also able to set up a booth and we were able to spread word about the upcoming Out of the Darkness Walk.

Um, idk if y’all realize but I am actually pretty adorable. Even if it was a million degrees.

LubbockPRIDE 2013

LubbockPRIDE 2013 will be hosting the annual gay pride festival on August 24th 2013. This festival is to bring together Lubbock and the surrounding communities for one day of fun, education, food and our fabulous drag show! This event is intended to be family friendly and we welcome people of al ages to attend. Let us celebrate the diversity of West Texas and continue to create equality and new friendships as one community.

Lubbock Pride festival will be hosted by local LGBT organization OutwestLubbock. The festival will be hosted at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in the Charlies Adams Gallery. Festival will consist of two parts: Family friendly from 3:30 - 6pm, and Night Life after 6pm. Festival will consist of live music, vendors, and a drag show. Beer and Wine will be served on site.

Admission is Free!
