Monday's Look

So, yes it’s Monday, and what a bad day to begin the week on eh?

I am sure that it wasn’t just me who struggled to get up this morning after a heavy weekend; one that involved getting in at 5am, yes, not sure how that happened, but anyway, happy Monday!

The weather has gone a degree colder, but luckily it still isn’t cold enough to wear a thick woollen coat that hides all aspects of an outfit. This means that we have to appreciate the degree of temperature it is at the moment, because in a few more weeks we’ll be getting up earlier on a Monday to de-ice our vehicles and putting on endless amount of neck warmers. Boo.

Today’s look involves colour, not too much though mind you; as again, we are all still fragile from the past two days, we want to relax in the corner and welcome the week. Not draw a lot of attention from our bosses (unless yours is a sexy as mine).

Dark green will be making an entry into fashion as the weeks continue into Autumn/Winter so lets go ahead of the crowd and do it now.

These are high waisted; as they are so very flattering.

A bralet brings sexiness to dull Monday’s, lets bring the weekend to the start of the week, it will make you feel so much better.

A statement necklace with red detailing. I never follow fashion rules so red and green is definitely a yes-yes for me, despite it being nowhere near Christmas, sort of. Apparently it’s 14 Saturdays till the big day, eee.

Loafers are the must-have office attire; smart, classy and comfortable, they are all you need after 2 nights of wearing heels and drinking.

A fur gilet is a way to get animal influences without having to wear a big, roasting coat. AW’13 is all about layering, luckily - living the UK we’ll need it all to keep warm!

Oh hi Monday, we’ve missed you!
