If you’re a true nail art connoisseur and you’re honest with yourself, you know that Japanese nail art is the best. There’s no contest — it’s the most innovative, and no matter the style, (from 3D Decora to kawaii characters to avant-garde abstract paintings to tiny hokuri details to full-on anime recreations…and on) the craft is impeccable.

However, getting anything similar to the above done in Tokyo usually costs an arm and a leg (albeit, understandably).

What’s a lady to do if she wants a memorable manicure for less than a few body parts? Say, around $50 USD. Is it possible for that mark, even if it wouldn’t be so elaborate as those shown? Can anyone recommend any Tokyo salons for great nails on a budget?
