I joined tumblr about a month ago, only because it seemed like the easiest blog site & app to share any type of media. So far it seems there are so many anti-police blogs on here, and not near as many pro-police. I’ve had to search for a bit to find some positive bloggers in support of police and police families.
People are so quick to put the police down and try to spread hate… Please educate yourselves before you speak. Do not be so quick to listen and believe those who have no respect for authority or laws. Laws are here for a reason. Who will you call when you need help or have an emergency?
Officers are out putting their lives on the line everyday to protect you. As a police family, there is no guarantee that our officers will come home at the end of their shift. We pray they do each time they leave home.
I thought about not sticking with a tumblr blog, but we need to get more positive stories about police out there.
So I’m here to stay. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and teacher. I support our law enforcement. I stand in support of my husband, his co-workers, our family, and all first responders.
This just popped up on my Facebook newsfeed from ISB 1984. LAMENTO by Marc Satterwhite for 10 basses, solo Bass, female voice, and speaker male voice.
Bass Circle from left: Jeff Bradetich, Knut Guettler, Roma Vayspapir, Ed Barker, John Clayton, Rodney Slatford, Henry Leow, Paul Ellison, Nico Abondolo, and Joseph Guastafeste. Edgar Meyer is the soloist next to the singer in the middle. I don’t know who the singer is though. Orlando Donado is the conductor.
Saturday, September 20th, is National Thank A Police Officer Day! Wear your BLUE! Thank your local police for all they do to protect us. Even just a simple “thank you” goes a long way… Our officers deserve the support, especially with all that has been occurring in our communities.
