2.Nope they never met (except in the movie Insignificance). But Marilyn looked up to him and thought of him as a hero. According to James Haspiel, Marilyn’s suite at New York’s Waldorf Towers in 1955 contained not one but two photographs of the scientist. She had a photograph of him with a personal inscription: “To Marilyn, with respect and love and thanks, Albert Einstein,” but it was probably a practical prank by Eli Wallach (from Adam Victor’s book The Marilyn Encyclopedia). And none of my other books mention him. If they had met there would inevitable be photos of them together.
