spring/summer 2013 kids’ clothing trends: Water meets clouds at LamanBlu, a collection of sea-inspired sportswear for girls and boys. This season, look for eco-friendly designer fabrications such as washable linen, silks, organic cottons, modal and bamboo knits, cut for comfort and printed with exclusive, trend-conscious patterns (girls and boys 6m-6x).

A linen set is the big seller at LamanBlu, reports children’s wear designer Holli Gibson. “Our Twirly SunTop in tonal blues is made of the coolest pure linen and the A-line shape and circular bottom ruffle make this top the twirliest you’ll find,” says Gibson. Environmentally friendly water-based ink is employed for elastic-waist clamdigger’s seahorse motif.

fall 2012 girls clothing fashion trends:

Holli Gibson, owner and designer at LamanBlu, cites the Petticoat dress as a favorite of buyers. “This is one of my favorite dresses because it has a nod to vintage times, but is modern in styling.  Denim and lace make it practical and pretty for every day and the velvet provides exquisite details.  The skirt and pettiskirt are constructed to have amazing twirl-a-bility,” says Gibson (6 months to 7 years).
