Last month I was at Pappy and Harriet’s waiting for a show to start and I ran into some friends. We started to talk about bands and the conversation always ends up with a discussion of punk. I told my friends I saw Guttermouth in Orange County at the Musink Festival. My friend’s wife says that Mark Adkins of Guttermouth owes her lunch. So she begins to tell the story on how Guttermouth was at a show in the Inland Empire, she was working as security at the show and for some unknown reason Adkins grabs her sack lunch and throws it into the crowd. I told her I plan to see Guttermouth at the La Habra 300 Bowl in May but I would not be asking for a new lunch for her. I have attached a link to some Guttermouth shows:

“To the chicken stand we go we’re eating lots of greasy food,” sang Mark Adkins of Guttermouth on Saturday as hardcore punk fans moshed and ate free chicken from the Chicken Box  at the sold out Gutterfest on Saturday at the La Habra 300 Bowl in La Habra. The La Habra 300 Bowl is creating buzz in North Orange County with regular punk shows a perfect fit for the resurgence of new and old punk bands in Orange County.

You normally do not use the word punk and clown in the same sentence but there are exceptions to every rule. The Yeastie Boys are bringing back their unique punk sound to La Habra, California on Saturday for a fundraiser to help Brain Injured Children, Inc. at the La Habra 300 Bowl Lounge. This retro fifty year old lounge is transformed into  hours of punk to raise money for a local charity during the Punk-n-Bowl.
