Olivia got me to do this…
(Also I don’t think I know 11 people to tag…)
Rule 1: Always post the rules.
Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who has tagged you has written and write 11 new ones.
Rule 3: Tag 11 new people and link them to your post.
Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them.
1. What year of history would you live through (bearing in mind guaranteed survival)?
The year of the moon landing (1969). Would be incredible to have been there, and I mean actually be there (it says guaranteed survival afterall [wouldn’t bother with the space suit, would be cool to just be there in my PJs]) partly to say ‘hah beat you’ but to paraphrase a famous saying, it was a great step for humankind ;).
2. Deep sea dive or fly to the moon?
Hadn’t read this far down when I wrote the above and am not changing it so it would have to be deep sea dive, plus, after astronaut the best job other than that in my opinion would be marine biologist.
3. Most treasured possession?
A hard one indeed, could name soooooo many things. Going to cheat and say the oak chest my Aunt gave me for my Birthday a few years ago along with its contents (namely because it contains most of my treasured possessions)
4. Fictional character you’d want to be your Dad?
Dad is fine as he is but if anybody it would have to be: Sherlock Holmes purely for the novelty factor, plus I might pick up a few things.
5. Dream pairing of an only-in-literature with an only-on-screen character?
Corporal Carrot (From the Discworld novels) and Miranda (you all know who). Because it would be utterly hilarious having someone who has no concept of sarcasm or irony spending all their time with someone who’s full of it. They could be a comedy double act.
6. Most memorable primary school day?
Stuck between three to be honest: First: When I was Joseph for the nativity musical we did and sang Mary’s words during the marriage scene. Second: When I was Tiny Tim in our production of A Christmas Carol and I walked to the end of the stage and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and nearly fell off the stage (the irony). Third: The day my year left and some of the teachers cried and we all learnt and performed ‘Proud’ in sign language.
7. Fuck, marry, kill: characters from classical mythology?
Fuck: Calypso (to be honest I don’t really have a clue), Marry: Aphrodite (Goddess of Love, who could be better!), Kill: Hades (who else…?)
8. Most memory/emotion invoking song?
Nothing Compares 2 U (Yes it is actually 2 U, not to you).
9. Favourite picture book?
Duck is Dirty (Best book ever, Laura and I still fight over it now).
10. Favourite language?
Can’t read it and it would be pointless to be able to speak it but: Latin.
11. Balancing skills?
I can balance just fine on one foot, do fall over occasionally but who doesn’t.
