'such beautiful colors and “silhouettes”!'

Thank you, Marina…! It was a really beautiful summer dusk,in which the last remains of sunlight were reluctant to leave the horizon. I had to capture it!

'Fantastic! Great shot! It’s lined up perfectly'.

The truth is that I spent a while trying to compose and align well those lines, Shana, which always seems to be difficult for me, since I shot wearing glasses! Thank you very much for your kind words, my friend!

'Wow!!!!

'Excellent! great composition.'

Thanks Esra! I loved that pattern, and the repetition of lines … I had long been wanting to find a building like that!

'…great composition! Is that lens distortion or is that building going round? anyway is works great! ;) why the choose of 7.1 for such a flat surface, that is so far away? If I may ask. PS: love your work!'

There is no distortion in this image, Tijmen, this time I shot using a 50mm fixed lens, which usually preserve magnificently the real proportions of objects. What is perceived in the photo is the natural curvature of the facade of the building -an ugly hotel, BTW!  With respect to your interesting question regarding the aperture, I think I really did not shoot deliberately at F7.1. I usually work in AP mode and shoot normally in high f numbers -f10, hereafter-, to get the maximum sharpness. This photo was taken early in the morning, with low light condition and so, F7.1 should be the highest aperture that gave me enough light to shoot …! Thank you for your kind words about my work. Discover yours has been a pleasant surprise for me and I hope to continue enjoying it from now on!
