Key Club Pen Pals

From Key Club International:

It’s exciting to get “snail mail” from someone who lives in another state—or even another country. Have you ever wanted a pen pal? We’re creating a Key Club pen pal program this spring, so now’s your chance to get one!

Start by writing a letter. Write about yourself, the state you’re from, your favorite service projects—whatever will help another Key Clubber get to know you. Your letter should look something like the image below. Then put your letter in an unsealed, stamped envelope with your return address on it.

Next, let us know what type of pen pal you’re looking for by filling out this survey. Based on the letters we get, we’ll do our best to match you with the best pen pal for you. (Note: All pen pal matches are based on availability. We can’t guarantee that your preferences will be met.) Print the survey, put the survey and your letter inside of a second, larger envelope and send them to the address below by March 31, 2014.

Key Club International
Attn: Nicole Harris (pen pal)
3636 Woodview Trace
Indianapolis, IN 46268

Your final envelope should look something like the one below.

As long as you followed all of the above instructions correctly, your job is done! We’ll handle it from there. Make sure to send in your letters by the March 31 deadline. That’s only a little more than one month from today!

Want more than one pen pal?

You’re definitely allowed to have more than one pen pal! Just repeat the directions above and send us another letter to help pair you with a different Key Club member.

*Please note that Key Club International reserves the right to reject any pen pal requests that don’t meet the above requirements. That decision is at the discretion of Key Club International staff

From Sophomore -> Senior year Key Club!🔑 Ready for DCON 2014! Hoping and praying that i’ll be able to perform to end my last year of Key Club. 😣 Either way can’t wait! #KeyClubLove

DCON 2014…. my very last DCON in Key Club… it was either this, the free Kpop concert, Coachella, or WOD.

I chose DCON- no, I chose Key Club over all of that and I regret nothing. Not one moment.
Key Club was there for me when no one else was. Key Club made me who I am today: a leader, an inspirer, a friend, and a brother. Key Club inspired me so much to do a lot of good to the world. The service: to help a better cause, to show compassion, to give back to the community, to make a world a better and a united place. The spirit: to see a person’s smile, to show your passion and determination to others and to what you believe in, to feel what others are feeling. Key Club has affected a lot of lives, whether you’re a member or if a member helped you.

Thank you, Taft Key Club. Thank you, Division 25 West. Thank you, Region 7. Thank you, Cali-Nev-Ha District. Thank you, Key Club International. And thank you, Kiwanis International. For giving me- no, all of the Key Club members an experience that they will never, ever forget. Thank you for making us who we are today and to be ourselves. Thank you for giving us leadership skills and education on the significance of service. Thank you for having us seeing kids and adults smile for what we contributed to the community.

Although this is a bittersweet end of the Class of 2014’s Key Club experience, know that we will take what we’ve learned and lead and inspire more people, whether we’ll still be in the Kiwanis family or not.

I feel good, oh I feel so good. But I feel better than good, to quote Keith Hawkins. Key Club taught me that this cheer is more that just a cheer.

I will always love my Key Club Ohana. L-O-V-E, I love my LTGs. L-O-V-E, I love my GOVs. L-O-V-E, I love my CNH Bees. L-O-V-E, I love Kiwanis.
