I am not sure that I exist, actually. I am all the writers that I have read, all the people that I have met, all the women that I have loved; all the cities I have visited.

Another Book of Life post! I had the fun challenge of figuring out how these soldiers worked in 3D space.  Jorge originally designed the soldiers to function like a Picasso painting as a 2D asymmetrical silhouette.  Even though their faces are always to camera, the modelers still needed the entire form figured out to help make their job of translating Jorge’s 2D designs into 3D easier.

Listening to Inkstuds and hearing so many people refer to Conan has piqued my interest in the character. Are there any particular stories that you would recommend checking out?

The 70’s and 80’s Savage Sword books that Dark horse reprinted is my favorite stuff. I tend to avoid most of the color or post 80’s stuff.

There’s some fantastic work by Roy Thomas, Barry Windsor-Smith & John Buscema, Ernie Chan (&Alfredo Alcala.) in those. —any of the volumes has great stuff in it. You could just start with #1 and see if you like them.

One of my all time favorite Conan stories is Jorge Zaffino and ChuckDixon’s : The Horned God ( I wish I could remember what reprint book # that is in)
