I ask the question, “who are you?”

Not your name, your sign, or your tattoos,

I mean, what characteristics make you who you are,

What makes you tick, how do you love, what’s in your heart?

So take away the rings, the studs, the ink,

Take away all the clothes you heard were chic,

Take away all the people you wished to become,

Take it all away til the sums are none.

Look at what’s left, this person called me,

One more question, “do you like what you see?”
