Time for some cooking with meat! The pineapple adds a sweet acidity to everything, and spring lamb is pretty tasty, if you can find any locally for sale. If you can’t, beef cubes work just fine for this recipe. Everything tastes good with curry flavoring!

In case you can’t read it, Komi’s spice list contains:

1 tsp cumin

1/8 tsp cardamom

1 tsp corriander

½ tsp turmeric

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp spicy pepper

Or you can use a few tsp of curry powder/paste if you can’t get these spices.  There is always an option!

If you don’t have a grilling pan, just put these skewers onto some foil, set the oven to broil and cook for 12-15 minutes. You’ll have to turn them at least once. Cut a piece of the meat open to see if it’s done!

2012 Calera Central Coast Chardonnay

If you’re looking for a Chardonnay with some buttery, malolactic notes, this is a great choice. Butter, lemon crème, apples, both baked and fresh pears, dill, and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Lots of lemon, lemon crème, baked apples, hazelnuts, dill, and vanilla on the palate.
