Explode in Praise (Day 4 of 7)

"I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels. The Sovereign Lord will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere.”

-Isaiah 61:10-11

Yesterday we talked about letting your light shine by asking Jesus to keep His fire burning within you. Today, we see one way we can do that: explode in praise. Burst from your comfort zone like a bomb and let your voice ring out for all that He has done for us!  The verses above show us just a glimpse of what it’s like to be in Christ. Why wouldn’t we react like that? Explode in praise today!

• ‘We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.’ (Heb 6:19) This hope is the cross of Christ. The cross is where we see that God loves us. The cross is where we see that God is in control and can use the worst for eternal good. The cross is our hope, the anchor for our souls, firm and secure. • #sunsetseries #christtheanchor #photographicadventures #foreverinaweofmycreator

Proverbs 18:1

The reason why the local church is essential. So many people don’t understand the importance of being a part of a community of believers. Here, in this scripture, we see the danger of isolation. Isolated individuals seek what’s best for themselves, but a community of believers focuses on the needs of the church as a whole. Get plugged in! Relationship with others is one of the best ways we can practice the Gospel in our daily lives because, often times, it requires a daily dying to one’s self.
