Something I really liked about Joy Ride was how Jenny, Sour Cream and Buck didn’t try to shame Steven for his comparatively “mundane” issues

Buck is the teenage son of the mayor to the city who gets treated like royalty, Sour Cream is having issues at home with his stepdad who won’t let him follow his dreams of being a DJ, and Jenny actively fights with her family who try to keep her reigned in - yet when Steven says he’s just grounded from watching TV, they all groan and offer condolences anyway

Steven Universe is actively teaching kids not to treat personal issues as a shitting contest and instead respect the problems of others without trying to one-up them

I love this show so much

That was so emotionally fulfilling! I'm so happy Steven got unbanned from television. The gems are learning so much more about humanity through there interaction with Steven.

It was a very good episode! I love watching the characters learn and grow and realize they’ve been doing something wrong and trying to make amends. Life is a learning experience, I love how none of the characters know exactly what to do and they make mistakes and have to figure stuff out just like normal people do. I really like watching the Gems have to navigate humanity and learn from it and get more and more attached and changed by it, rather than humanity getting changed by their magical influence.

Hi I'm bisexual & I would love to see more representation on TV. BUT it would make zero sense for Dean to suddenly come out as bi after 10 seasons of being straight. He is who he is, deal with it. Also, I'm sorry for all the hate you're getting :(

Thank you so much anon omg this was such a wonderful message to come to and just yes I totally agree with you. Like I am ALL up for more queer/bi/etc. representation on SPN but it makes no sense to suddenly do it with Dean when there has been no canon lead up to it. I want the representation just because that’d be awesome to have but it’s not going to start with Dean, so people should be pushing in general for just more representation on the show yep yep yep

I just found out that because of the NCAA tournament, no new episodes of The Late Late Show for the rest of the week.  I think that James Corden has done a pretty decent job so far.  I don’t really know much about him at all so it’s nice to see an entirely new person hosting a late night show.  I love that he has Reggie Watts as the bandleader, he already adds a whole lot to the show.  I’ve noticed that his monologues are in similar style like how Craig Ferguson did it, I really enjoy that style much more than the typical Johnny Carson-era monologues.  I like that he interviews all his guests at the same time, I think that will add more to the interview segments.  His comedy sketches have been okay, a bit hit and miss, they’re done in the same style like how Fallon and Kimmel does them.  With all that said, I don’t see his show overtaking “Late Night with Seth Meyers” as that brand is just too strong, but it definitely is a really good alternative to watch.  It’s not like Ferguson, but it still seems like he’s off to a pretty good start.

hhjkkjjhhh reminder that i blacklist astrology/zodiac/horoscope posts as well as fandoms/tv shows and tagging those would help me a whole lot thanks

(for fandoms tagging an acronym of the name is not super helpful. for example if i blacklist #su then im gonna lose all posts where someone tagged something starting with those letters that might have nothing to do with steven universe. so i dont wanna blacklist that, but i still wanna blacklist steven universe. i get that tagging the full name is tedious and hard but just try ur best friends and understand that i might have to unfollow for this)

(if u wanna know Why i blacklist steven universe and other shows that i love/watch pls read this)

In 2009, Pratt was cast on Parks and Rec for a six-episode arc as the oafish boyfriend of Rashida Jones’ character. That soon changed. “Almost at the point of the audition we were like, ‘Oh, we have to reconceive this, because this guy’s the funniest person we’ve ever seen. We’re not letting that guy go,” says series co-creator Michael Schur - Entertainment Weekly

"-A has taken everything from me. I can’t lose you too." "You haven’t."

When someone comes up to me and says, “Hey, I’m a big Pushing Daisies fan.” You just feel like, “Oh, wow: You’re the one who watched it. So nice to meet you.” […] When I meet one of the fans, I’m always like, “Aw, one of my people. You liked it, too? I liked it. You liked it. Let’s talk about it a little bit.”
