So recently I learned to crochet and have taken up yarnbombing with Merritt Kirkpatrick and a few other students. A couple weeks ago, she had two events where she taught students how to crochet and it was later followed up by an installation day. It was super fun and I’m glad I got into the yarnbombing community! I highly recommend looking into Merritt’s work.

Credit for all the fantastic pictures goes to my friend, Ashley.

The cat painting in your studio is amaaazing.

Thanks O:

I’m taking it home with me over the weekend, so hopefully I’ll be able to get a decent picture (for you tumblr folks).

I’m also pretty sure I’m going to  just do cats for senior painting. That’s a valid topic. Rite?

Just got back from the studio. Really glad today’s session is over.

After about 4+ hours of registering and painting my plate, I realized that I had painted the shield the wrong color. In the end, I got three prints off of this thing. One is pretty solid, the other is off-register, and the third is a ghost with no background.

All that’s left to do is some finishing work on the details, and the Coulson quote to go at the bottom of the print.
