This, on the right, is Hollow Mountain Gas Station.
In case you couldn’t tell, it’s actually built into the mountain.
The gas station across the street (pictured left) is a lowly peasant in the shadow of Hollow Mountain.
Passing by this unique gas station was no accident. I sought it out.
And I’m glad I did, especially because I got to drive through Capitol Reef National Park and see some of the most breathtaking cliffs and rock formations in Utah.
