Finally a new update, it’s nice to be back!

The first update for a long time is the fantastic production ‘War of the Words' by Kers/Gzos and Jaer.

I posted about how fantastic this was in its unfinished form on the SheffieldStreetArt Twitter page and gave a teaser of it in an earlier post on the site and the finished piece definitely didn’t disappoint. Taking around 2 weeks to fully complete, the piece is one of the biggest and most impressive productions I have seen in my time in Sheffield.

There are new building works in town, which in Sheffield means brand new opportunities for new street art pieces and it hasn’t taken long for a collection to be created.

Situated near the Radio Sheffield building, there are already five large pieces painted on the wooden planks by artists such as Booms, Kers and others.

As well as the five pieces currently painted, there is still a large amount of uncovered wood, meaning there will be alot of new pieces painted over the coming weeks. Rocket01 is planning a piece and I imagine many others are also in the early stages so watch out for alot of updates of this area soon.

Managed to get here just as this piece was finished. Thisis a close up of the Pawski and Foundry collaboration.

The wall in all its glory featuring Ryak, Mace, Pawski, Foundry, Gzos and Jaer and some fellow with a camera ;)

Love these, no idea who they are by.

Xhastexo and Bine, brilliant piece that wasn’t there for long.

The style looks familiar, but I’m not certain. Spotted whilst half way up a…

The Future's So Bright So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades!

The Future’s So Bright So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades!

Good to see Ryak, Jaer and Gzos making the most of the sunshine.

The finished wall, positively burnin’………… pass the factor 50!

The glorious weather had brought Faunagraphic out to play as well.

Lovely isn’t it?

Of course the sunshine is all well and good but can be a bit of a nightmare with a camera, so this awesome piece by Foundry is slightly cropped to remove the shadow of a lamppost!
