one category lacking in my wardrobe, for obvious reasons (a.k.a. being a San Francisco resident), is swimwear - which in most cases doesn’t bother me…except for once a year when we head on our annual hawaiian vacation. it is approximately a little under two weeks before that i remember this void in my closet and become slightly alarmed (because it is oh so very last minute that i get worried none of the swimsuits i order online will come in enough time or fit.) and yes, it is almost mandatory to purchase bathing suits online living in SF because all of the incredibly designed/unique suits that i want, for example brands like Mara Hoffman or One Teaspoon, are rare birds.

so here are six of my favorites from Nasty Gal:

(from left to right, top to bottom)

Eagles Shadow Bikini (in Mint) $110

The Local Swimsuit $155

Mayan Bikini $220

Britt Bikini $100

Roadway Swimsuit $148

Lattice Crochet Swimsuit $198

being a leo and all, naturally this was my morning song choice: PAPA’s “I Am The Lion King”. i have been listening to their EP, A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, a little bit too much, but it is only getting me more and more excited to see them at Outside Lands!

my favorite freesytle by Machine Gun Kelly featuring Youngblood.

this cover of Young Blood by Birdy stays forever on my current playlist, it was originally preformed by The Naked and Famous, but for some reason their version doesn’t grab my soul the same way.

you should most definitely purchase Birdy’s album on iTunes, if you have not already. she also does amazing covers of Bon Iver’s Skinny Love and The Postal Service’s The District Sleeps Alone Tonight.

what better way to get back into the mix of things than with an OBG! (and just in case there is someone out there who doesn’t know what that acronym stands for, because to tell you the truth i might very well be that person, i meant oldie but goodie. i know, once you hear it it seems so obvious, right? but let’s be real, there are some many these days its hard to stay up to date and sometimes i need that reminder.) sooo ladies and gents here is one of my favorite Man Repeller interviews.
