Hello! Excuse me, but what is the "Chibi Utapri Bunch"? It's the first time I see it and I'm interested what you guys are going to do.c:

Oh, I’m finally able to tell everyone the ~story behind it all~
So, one day, amisbro changed his icon(for the first time since I started following him), to this cute Ai. Then, I saw that mynaturallycurlyhair changed to Otoyan’s, and decided to make a thing and match with them. Soon, people syarted matching with us, and now we have 11 people with these cute chibi utapri icons matching for the next season :3 Now, it also made us more united, and a lot of friendships started from it.
If you’re interested, I was actually looking for a Haru-chan(since the post we got the icons from has one for her), so if you want to join us, you are welcome!

if I can help even one person by posting this maybe I’ll be able to convince myself that I have some purpose

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY GOT SOMETHING IN A GIVEAWAY!!! THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE! And as for the details, ordinary icons would be fine, I guess. I'll make a common PSD for all my icons when I have time so I need them to be uniform. But I'd really appreciate it if you told me how you made the third icon on your give-away post. It's lovely ( & I can never figure out how to do gif overlays :'( ) & anyway, CONGRATS ON THE MILESTONE :D

{ Normal icons, got it!

and for this icon, I used an app called PicsArt for the shape mask. I really like this app because it’s the only one that lets me resize photos to 100x100px.

As for the gif overlays, it’s actually pretty easy! I use CS5 & I’ve only had Photoshop for like a month now, so I don’t know if it works differently on other versions, but let’s say I want a sparks gif with this icon:

all I’d have to do it open both the icon & gif (resized to 100x100px, of course).

For the gif, you want to choose File, Import, Video Frames to Layers

Input *.* into file name & hit Enter, then find the gif you want to use!

There should be a pop-up asking if you’d like to open the gif from Beginning to End. You shouldn’t have to change anything, so just hit Okay.

Now, you should see something like this:

for the Animation Frames at the bottom, make sure the first frame is highlighted and scroll all the way to the last frame. Then hold Shift and click the last frame. Now, all of your frames should be selected. Do the same thing for your layers.

After that, pull out the tab your icon is in so that you can view both icon & gif.

select the Move Tool and drag your icon over the gif. If your icon layer isn’t already at the top, drag that above the gif layers as well.

After that, all you need to do is change your Blend Mode to Screen and you’re good! You can test it out by playing the animation at the bottom and adjusting the delay between frames as needed.

When you’re all done, just go to File, Save for Web and Devices. Make sure you save it as a gif, and the Looping Options is set to Forever!

Then save, and:

There you have it! I hope this works for you, but if not, you can always search for other icon tutorials! Let me know if you run into any problems! }
