LGBTQIAA+ people are invited to sit at Jesus’ dinner table and enjoy the feast God as s prepared for his returning children.
And God has asked his currently returned children (Christians) to go out and bring the rest in from work and from the streets to join in.
But we (church people) like Jonah and the older brother (story of periodical son) are so prejudiced and hard hearted that we would rather see them starve and be damned by God.
The reality is that with out us LGBTQIAA people are building relationships with a God that loves them despite us.
And we are the ones who arent at the dinner table. We, Christians are the ones sitting over the mountain top looking down on Ninivah waiting for it to be struck down. While they in fact are celebrating and having a festival at the feast we are failing to invite them to.
And the truth is that night is coming and the gates to that feast will be closed. If we arent in the feast now, we will be closed out of that dinner; that is a real loving relationship with God.
If God looks past the life style of people and sees his children, why can’t we?
Why do we feel the need to be right at the detriment of our selves and people we are called to love?
If we fail to love we are no more than the wicked servant who hid his masters investment money rather than go and invest like he was told. Or better yet we are the complaining workers in the vineyard who were against having extra help come in last minute.
Who are we to question where the master invests or who he brings in to work?
