Now, some faux-80s nostalgia from Matt Berry and Richard Ayoade in Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place.
What I love about Matt Berry’s music—even his funny music, like in Snuffbox—is that he works entirely with original seventies and eighties electronic instruments. He has moogs, keyboards and synths that are completely discontinued in order to do much of his work—which is incredibly nostalgic for those eras, and rich with memory and feeling.
And, of course, Richard Ayoade is the funniest motherfucker alive.
