gabdar reblogged this from you and added:

Is that seriously a concern in the UK? I have never seen a child as well-dressed as this in my poor Canadian life, haha.
And this is definitely more your future child than my future child. My future children will only wear comic book/gaming/sci fi related clothing and nothing else.

</surprising no one>

It’s an epidemic! It’s a threat to the stability of our country, how are people supposed to know how old people are if they all dress old?! How is Britain supposed to function with all this sartorial chicanery! I think it is partly at the fault of Zara Kids clothing. For example here’s a picture from their catalogue I googled:
AGAIN HE HAS A BETTER BLAZER THAN ME. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE MARRIED. THEY HAVE A DOG. THEY ARE READING, TO THE DOG. THEY ARE NOT OLD ENOUGH TO READ. THE DOG IS OLDER THAN THEM.
I thought Canada was rich! It’s number one on the places to live, perhaps because the people there aren’t spending all their money on clothes for their children? Do people in Canada have children? It’s true you’d suspect it, but I intend to dress my child like this:

do it or else termites will eat your paper, and then you’ll never be able to see your handwriting.

Tahmina- Not to hype it up but you probably will ;D, you will learn things about life such as:
1) How to make tea
2) How a dinosaur survived extinction and secretly lives on
3) How to have a long distance relationship
4) How to make a CD and only spend £4 on recording it

Gabby- Thanks so much for saying nice things about the last song!

Adam- The EP is kind of a Hybrid Theory meets All Killer No Filler so I think you will like it ;D

Fatinely- Thank you! It’s hard to imagine anything we do being pro haha. I’m glad you agree, I think the next CD will definitely be centered around a concept of killer ducks.

gabdar replied to your post: BUH You need to come have a talk with whoever is building soft lofts as hard lofts in Toronto (like… everyone). It makes absolutely no sense.

This kind of thinking (if you can call it that) is pretty prevalent at the moment! It’s probably not the architect’s fault, I’d like to think so anyway! A particular favourite* of mine is in some new housing estates currently being built in England they’ve designed in a ‘blocked’ up window. As though the building has been there a long time and a window has been blocked up by the owner, although the house was built with that blocked window already in it from the beginning to imply 'time’, history and age. To me that is the complete opposite of nearly every design philosophy haha!

Hey There, New Followers

I’ve gained several new followers in the last few days, so in case the stuff I reblog isn’t enough here’s some stuff about me.

  •  I’m from the Midwest. Illinois to be exact. Bourbonnais, IL to be even more exact.
  • I went to school at Eastern Illinois University for theatre performance. Now I’m a waiter.
  • A damn good waiter.
  • I hate this sentence - I’m a stand up comedian. -  Even though I guess I am; it just sounds weird, awful, and wrong.
  • My life is full of the nerdiest things and its awesome.
  • I play a few instruments, but none of them well - trumpet, trombone, alto horn, and banjo.
  • I totally stole this idea.

Thank you Gabby! Yeah I think I’m exactly the same! I haven’t listened to it in a while, but I used to listen to it all the time back when I was maybe 15, I still think it’s a brilliant album and I got into a lot of stuff that I still listen to now via that album, if it wasn’t for Lateralus I don’t think there would be any of those albums on that list!
