I’m still pissed about the fact that my AP courses, while college level and counting towards my university GPA, were classes not scaled by university grading, but High School grading (given that APs count for a 5.0 A rather than a 4.0 A in High School GPAs). Oh yay. 93-100 is an A- through A+ in high school. But 90-100 is the college scale. So my high school GPA was superficially inflated because of clear knowledge of how fucked up the scale was, and my college GPA is deflated because of a few 91s, 92s and 93s in my APs that counted as Bs and A-s instead of what they REALLY are on the college scale. So I’ll graduate magna cum laude instead of summa cum laude. Fucking first world white girl problems. Sorry.
