thank you all for motivating me everyday and giving me strength to continue with this journey.

back on track

over the weekend I let loose.

it was my one year wedding anniversary and my husband and I ate out twice, Saturday it was my cousins baby shower and there was a taco bar plus dessert table, and I also had a couple of glasses of wine.

I didn’t really feel bad about it because I felt that I didn’t over-do it but, yesterday morning while looking in the mirror I felt like I reversed my progress. On top of everything I had not exercised for about 2 weeks due to my knee injury! I haven’t been weighing myself but I have been measuring my waist and hips.

good news is I’m back on track and my knees are 100% back to normal! it feels so good!!

yesterday I ate clean and did an hour of yoga. at home I did 10 minutes of stretching, 50 squats, 15 crab crunches on each side (which I am in love with), 20 crunches, 20 push ups, 10 second side planks, 30 second wall sit and 30 calf raises.

what I learned was that it is ok to celebrate special occasions but in moderation. I should have dined out once, had 2 tacos instead of 3 and a half and no wine.
